It was an incredible honor to photograph the wedding of Jason and Ellona at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hotel on Lake Washington.
The day started off with a beautiful morning breeze and soft light streaming in through the windows. Ellona and her girls made the most of the morning, sipping mimosas, listening to their favorite songs, and popping confetti while Jason and his groomsmen chose to take it easy and enjoyed a laid back morning.
On the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency, overlooking Lake Washington, Jason waited anxiously to see his beautiful bride-to-be. When he finally turned around and saw her, he was overwhelmed with emotion – they shared a quiet moment together and prayed for their wedding day.
We took full advantage of the stunning scenery at Golfclub at Newcastle, where the couple chose to do take their bridal portraits. They got to enjoy some special moments together – and the portraits look like they belong on the cover of Bride Magazine! Ellona looked stunning in her Pronovias dress from Christinna's Bridal and Jason rocked his Dolce & Gabbana suit.
Guests poured onto the rooftop of the Hyatt to witness Jason and Ellona’s commitment to each other – everyone was filled with so much joy as they exchanged rings and kissed under an arch of white roses! Following their ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails by the lake and then dinner in the ballroom.
As if on cue, the sun came out for the reception, filling the entire room with golden rays of light. The decor by SweetNDesign was classic and elegant, with pink accents, lush florals and a cake that looked too perfect to eat! Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating these two amazing people - it was truly a night to remember.
At the end of the night, guests gathered to send off the newlyweds with sparklers and cheers! We wish these two all the best on this journey ahead and thank them for allowing us to be part of such an incredible day!
